SIBIAM was set up in July 2007 as a non-profit charity organization including patients, parents (families) and volunteers. Our main objective is to look after the interest of children and adults with Spina Bifida and its related disorders through practical and meaningful project.
Spina Bifida means “split spine”. It is a condition that affects the spine and the spinal cord of a child even while still in the womb, leaving the child with varying degrees of paralysis.
